It’s a powerful story of four strong women whose life is shattered by one act of terrorism. A bomb blast rattles an entire city sending security agencies on high-alerts, news-alerts on media, emergency situation at hospitals. Flames, fire, firefighters, mutilated bodies, torn, blown up, blood. It’s gory! Groans, cries, shrieks, ambulance sirens, shouts, blames, complaints…it’s too noisy…deafening…too confusing… Within hours, things settle down. Life returns to business as usual. But, not for all. For those who have lost their near and dear ones it will never be the same again. Amongst them are these four women. Of these, two have lost their husbands, one’s husband has lost his legs, and one has lost her fiancé. In a less-human society, everyone knows they are vulnerable. But they fight to survive to protect their own modesty, their daughters’ honor, to thwart destitution. All seems lost but not their indomitable will. Hopeless, they still HOPE! |
